INDEPENDENT GAMES! Absolutely love PC Gamer

First of all I want to thank PC Gamer @pcgamer for the media invite to their E3 2018 briefing! I very much enjoy PC gaming and PC Gamer brings to light at E3 Indie Games!!! Independent games are far and few from E3 because of the larger titles and developers whom overshadow innovation but for me, independent games bring fun and interesting concepts to the gaming world. The advantage of independent developers is new/different creative strategies that are adopted into the innovation of gaming. I appreciate the PC Game informer for broadcasting independent developers and I don’t appreciate people leaving early from the conference. Those media/industry don’t understand that at the PC game platform is the stronger contender compared to consoles! Of course this specific media briefing did not talk about the capabilities of a PC because one can go through so many avenues of how it stronger than the consoles. There is so many options to discuss with the PC components with VR technology, Nano IPS, HDR, AMD Freesync and Nvidia! Regardless, one of the independent games that caught my attention is....

Maneater is an open world single player Action RPG, developed by Blindside Studios, which is led by Alex Quick, developer of Depth and original Killing Floor mod creator, who also collaborated with Tripwire on Killing Floor 1 and 2. Set in the unforgiving waters of the southern US Gulf Coast, players will fight to survive in rivers and streams as well as the open ocean, with danger lurking at every depth. Their only tools are their wits, their jaws, and an uncanny ability to evolve as they feed. Anything and everything is on the menu... kill or be killed. In this tale of revenge, players can take on the role of an ever-evolving shark and terrorize the coastal waterways, tearing swimmers and divers limb from limb, giving the humans a reason to fear what lies below. Immersed in a living, breathing world full of threats and rewards, players will have a vast world to explore sunken wrecks, lurk in swamps, or cruise the open ocean looking for their next unsuspecting meal. As your shark evolves customize your maneater to fit YOUR play style. Eat, Grow, Evolve.

Maneater for me brought laughs and a change in the scheme of big titles. In the end this is the fourth year of the PC Gamer media conference and I hope that they will come back next year! Please do because E3 needs the PC world! Mods come from PC and developers have included those mod and communities into the consoles!
